Whether your interests are hiking, biking, boating or equestrian trail riding, Riverside State Park offers outdoor adventures for everyone with over 9,000 acres of forest land and natural areas along the Spokane and Little Spokane Rivers, and is the second largest state park in Washington. Best of all, it's only a 20-minute drive from downtown Spokane.
Riverside State Park offers a rich history and was developed by members of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in 1933-1934. The Spokane House Interpretive Center features exhibits about the long history of the Spokane Tribe of Indians in our region as well as early pioneers, fur trappers, and fur-trading posts dating back to 1810.
Enjoy a day picnic, camping, family hikes, birdwatching, or just dipping your toes into the meandering Spokane River to cool off when summer arrives.

Dear Bloomsday Organizers and Charity Committee:
On behalf of the Board of Directors, volunteers, and the many visitors who enjoy our local trails, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for selecting the Riverside State Park Foundation as the Charity of Choice for the 50th Running of Bloomsday.
This opportunity has been an incredible honor and we were proud to be a part of this iconic Spokane tradition that encourages community health, camaraderie, and appreciation for the outdoors.
Many Bloomsday participants train on the trails within Riverside State Park, logging miles and building strength for race day. This partnership provided a unique opportunity to connect with tens of thousands of participants and highlight the importance of sustaining our state's second-largest state park for future generations and to highlight the important work of the RSP Foundation.
The funds raised through your generous support and the donations from runners will allow us to advance our mission by:
