Oct 19 2019: Zombie Volunteers – Riverside State Park Haunted Zombie Hike
About this Event
Riverside State Park and the Riverside State Park Foundation are looking for volunteers to haunt the woods for the annual Haunted Zombie Hike event on Saturday, October 19, 2019. Volunteer “zombies” provide the scary atmosphere.
We will be splitting volunteers into two different group times to prevent volunteers from staying on the course for longer hours. Volunteers are also more than welcome to stay on the course the whole event.
- First shift – 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
- Second shift – 8:30 – 10:15 p.m.
You have the option to get your makeup done free of charge by local artists or come with your own costume and makeup already done. Makeup artists will be working on first shift zombies from 5 – 6:30 p.m. and second shift zombies from 7 – 8:30 p.m.
Food and drink will be provided to volunteers.
Drawings for gift baskets and prizes!
Please stay for committed shift.
Volunteers get a free shirt!
Dress warm and bring extra clothing (rain jackets, additional layers, gloves, close-toed shoes, etc.) due to possibility of unexpected weather and colder temperatures during this time of month.
Discover Pass not required.
